In 1986-1988, the Franklin Mint issued a series of cat figurines for the Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each cat was produced from a different material, in different countries, and reflected various art forms popular through the ages. This slender cat is made of a gold tone metal (possibly brass, but not sure), in the Art Deco style, which originated around 1910 and peaked between 1925-1935. This piece has no paper labels but is incised on the belly 1988 TFM for The Franklin Mint. The cat measures about 3.25" long. It is in excellent condition. No paperwork.
