This old working duck decoy has a cork body on a wood base with an inlet wooden head that rotates with a screw hook on the underside. The bottom has a wooden keel with a strip of metal attached at the back half. The letters LAB are carved on the underside. The duck has glass eyes, carved nostrils or nares, and appears to have possibly been fairly recently repainted on the head. The body is quite pitted as would be expected on a working cork decoy. The decoy measures 12.5" long and 7" wide.
