This beautiful blue Jasperware pitcher or creamer was produced by Wedgwood in 1953. It is incised such on the underside along with 30, W, and made in England, and another mark in a circle that I can't make out. Grape vines encircle the rim. The motif includes maidens, children, cherubs, trees and flowers, a goat and a peacock. The pitcher stands 5.5" tall. It has a handle with a rope design and the inside has a glazed shiny finish. The piece is in excellent condition with a few extra pinpoint pieces of white slip in the base motif.
