"Wildflowers of the South" limited edition collector plates was an official issue by Southern Living Gallery and The United States Historical Society. The series consisted of 12 plates produced by Royal Windsor in 1981 depicting the paintings by artist Ralph Mark. The plate number is 3713 of a limited edition of 19,200 plates. Each plate is rimmed in gold and has the artist signature on the front. This particular plate is number 5 in the series and is titled "Queen Anne's Lace." In addition to the beautiful flowers in the foreground, there is a bird on a stump and horses grazing in a field. The plate measures 9.25" in diameter, and is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, there is no box or paperwork, thus the discounted price. I am listing 3 plates in this series, so please take a look in my shop for the others. I will happily combine shipping.
