Pair of beautiful antique blue blown glass handpainted mantel luster measuring 11" high. Each luster has 8 cut glass prisms with round crystals at the top, three sided long prisms and an arrow shaped prism at the bottom. The floral design is painted in white and there is a round of dots midway up the bowls. There is some paint loss, but the design still holds its clarity and beauty. The top of the bowls are nicely scalloped and the shapely pedestal base measures 5 1/4" wide, provided stability. There was gilding along the top of the scallops, but that has mostly worn away. Each luster has a large pontil mark on the bottom. These are quite lovely and there are no chips or cracks on either luster. Circa 1880-1910.
