Gorgeous Karl Richard Klemm handpainted candlestick made in Dresden Germany between 1880 and 1916. The Klemm studio was sold in 1916. The blue and white candlestick is generously and beautifully gilded and bears a Fragonard portrait on two sides of the scalloped base. Measures 3 1/2" across the base and 6" high. Marked on the bottom with the Klemm Dresden Crown mark which was registered as Design No 24. Hard to come by and highly collectible.
