A dark red-brown leather fire bucket with hand-wrought copper rivets and copper collar. The gilt stencil A.A.H. identified the owner of this bucket, as it was handed along the line while fighting a fire. The interior is painted with a gray-brown waterproof coating. The plainness of this bucket leads us to the opinion that it is probably American.
