Here comes an extremely sweet vintage Steiff cat, with her original chest tag. Her official name is “Steiff young kitty Gussy”, and she was produced in Germany from 1952 to 1962 in this edition. Beautifully preserved old Steiff kitten a swivel head, embroidered nose and claws and is made of black /white mohair and firmly stuffed.
Vintage Steiff kitten Gussy has beautiful green glass eyes and all her plastic whiskers are in place, her nose is embroidered, her open mouth and ears are made of velvet. Old Steiff cat is 17 cm / 6 ¾ inches long, the largest ever produced version. Steiff Gussy is in admirable vintage condition as you can see in the photographs! Her red bow was added by me.
