Here comes a beautiful vintage sitting Steiff elephant named Jumbo, complete with all its Steiff identification marks; Steiff lentil button, yellow label (0520/22), and chest tag. Jumbo also has his red felt bib and holds a bell on the tip of its trunk, all original this way. This old Steiff animal is in excellent to mint condition!
Vintage Steiff elephant was made in Germany from 1968 to 1975, the very last (of three) edition of this model in this smaller size (of two)!
Steiff sitting elephant Jumbo measures 22 cm / 8 ¾ inches sitting butt to head.
1960s Steiff elephant is made of grey mohair and softly (in comparison to other Steiff old Steiff animals, I find the stuffing semi-soft) stuffed. It has plastic eyes, an open felt mouth, and arms and head are jointed.
