This lovely pin was broken in two pieces when I got it. It is a hollow bar pin and I put a piece of rose gold fill into the two pieces, cold soldered the break and added the little tulips to cover the break line. Now it's stable. I gilded the bar pin with 22K gold leaf to "pull it together". I believe the duck is missing a wing so I put a tiny cultured seed pearl in the place where the wing would have attached. The ducks body does not test as any stone so it may be glass. The dog is original and beautifully executed with a red cabochon glass eye. The tiny enamel flower is original and in very good condition. The "post and rail" fence has a bend in it but it's not bad. I think this pin could be better restored by replacing the bar portion with a rose gold filled bar and adding the duck dog flower and fence. The duck's wink is Silvertone with tiny cultured seed pearls. There is a mark in two places on the pin. Looks to be an "A" with conjoined letters VA. See photos.
