This Kylin or Qilin necklace is a Chinese silver amulet. At its centerpiece is a man riding a beast with tassels hanging from it. It has two sided detail on both sides of the piece. There are two little men hanging from each side of the chain.
The Qilin (pronounced 'chee-lin') sometimes called Kylin, is a mythological creature that has been part of Chinese culture for many centuries. It's always a symbol of good fortune. There is red enamel paint on the back side but I can't tell if it's part of original.
