This earring design is typical to the French period c 1890.
There is a rose cut diamond in the middle of a star to the centre of each earring.
Hallmarks: Solid 18k. The earrings are hallmarked with the French Tete de cheval , the mark for jewellery in 18 karat gold ( this mark is only during 1838 till 1919)
. The front latching wires operate perfectly.
These are in fine antique condition with a lovely antique blush to the gold.
Dimensions are : 0,56 inch from the ear piercing and the width is 0,3 inch across; weight is 3,5 grams.
These are superb 'boucles d'oreilles Anciennes - dormeuses' so very chic !
