Vintage Limoges 11" Dragon Handled Tankard with Matching Footed 7 1/2" Round Underplate
This two-piece tankard set is in nice condition. It is decorated with a band of fruit around the top of the tankard and in the center of the round footed underplate. It is marked with the Martin, Charles, underglaze white ware Mark in green, bird flying between banners with "LIMOGES FRANCE. Also marked in red LM CA. '18. (1918)

Charles Martin & Duché - History Pierre Martin leased a porcelain factory in Limoges in 1882. His brother Charles Martin joined him in 1886 and assumed full control shortly thereafter.
