This 6" high golden brown glazed stoneware pitcher is most likely American. It is 4.5" wide at the handle.
Given the impurities that show in the stoneware, especially apparent in the unglazed area of the foot, this piece is not modern. The design impresses me as late 19th or early 20th Century, but I invite information from experts. The pitcher has normal use wear in various areas as shown in the pictures. It is not cracked or broken. The glaze is crackled.
