This antique Continental (800 silver) bracelet is French, circa 1900. It is beautifully designed with smooth and alternating matte textured links. Attached is a charm in the shape of a cube with a fleur de lis on each side. The fleur de lis is finely detailed and shiny, a perfect contrast with the textured matte background. It is original to the bracelet and quite interesting in appearance.
The bracelet is smooth to the touch, and moves gracefully on the wrist. It fits a larger wrist, measuring 8 1/2 inches long X a bold 1/2 inches wide. It opens and closes with the original, secure spring ring. It weighs 32.9 grams and retains a French guarantee stamp for silver on the clasp and connecting link of the charm.
These bracelets are lovely worn alone or stacked with other period silver bracelets. Great worn with jeans or with casual clothes
France, circa 1900
