Antique Diamond Sunburst Brooch Pendant Circa 1880 - image 1 of 6

Simply one of the finest I have offered, this diamond sunburst is truly for someone who is the center of your universe. It is English, circa 1880.

It is perhaps the most coveted of the celestial pieces of jewelry so popular today. The classic form is so dramatic and elegantly showcases the diamonds . The diamonds are Old European Cut, surrounded by small rose diamonds. The central diamond is approximately .70 carats and is I-J color and S11-S12 clarity. The additional 10 Old European Cut surrounding the central stone and Rose diamonds equal approximately 2.20 carats. The total diamond weight is approximately 2.9 carats. These stones are I-J color and VS-SI clarity.

The diamonds are all set in silver top, 15 carat gold and are open to the light for maximum radiance.
The reverse has the original screw fitting to remove the brooch section if you choose to wear it as a pendant. It has a concealed loop for a chain, or cord of choice. The photos are an example of various types chains joined with this sunburst.

The diameter is 1 3/4 inches.
Condition is superb.
This is for someone who desires the best and a timeless, elegant piece of jewelry.
