This sleek very long silver French chain is circa 1900. It is 800 silver and rose gold vermeil. Elegantly designed with finely detailed links and highlighted by oblong links centered with rose gold vermeil plaques. The rose gold, decorative plaques are rich in color and double sided.
The chain measures 56 inches long X 1/4 inches across the plaques. It has a spring ring which can be used for a charm or pendant of choice, and can easily adjusted to be used as a clasp. The condition is superb. It is 23.6 grams and retains French poincons ,or guarantee stamps on the end ring for 800 silver.
These long chains, especially with contrasting links are difficult to find and this is quite beautiful.
