These earrings, designed by Linda Lee Johnson are rendered in 18 karat gold. Her field service as an exchange student to Greece in her younger years, developed an appreciation and love of ancient Greek artistry. This is evident in all her creations. She is an accomplished artist both in jewelry, as well as sculpture. She has been showcased exclusively by Barneys NY since 1989. She has garnered a world wide customer following, and her sculptures are exhibited in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami.
I rarely sell contemporary jewelry, but her work perfectly bridges ancient with contemporary art. These earrings have a hand hammered finish which reflects light in such a special way. They are clip backs and quite substantial weighing 17.9 grams. They measure 16mm.
They have the applied bee, her signature on the reverse.
Condition is excellent. Beautiful!
