This is a Georgian period, circa 1800 seed pearl necklace. The four rows of white pearls are all natural, and are finely separated with 9 karat yellow gold detailed rings. The front of the necklace has a natural pearl set in gold, as does the clasp.
This is beautiful worn as a choker or close to the neck. Suitable to grace the neck of a young bride or a mature woman as this is very understated, elegant and typically Georgian. It measures 15 3/4 inches long and terminates with a secure push clasp.
