This delightful antique gold diamond lizard is American, circa 1900. It is 14 karat, silver top gold, set with 69 rose diamonds. The body is realistically rendered, and the head is set with cabochon rubies. The tongue is of course, forked, adding to the charm and the feet well defined and textured.
The rose diamonds are I color SI2 clarity and are approximately one carat in total weight. It measures 2 3/8 inches long X 3/4 inches across the feet.
The reverse has all original mounts and a secure safety clasp.
The scale is perfect for this to be worn on a shirt, sweater or hat.
Condition is excellent, and it is completely original.
