These are a charming pair of French diamond earrings, circa 1900. The style is known as dormeuse as their petit size rendered them comfortable enough for wearing through them through the night. The diamonds are mine cut and have platinum fleur de lis settings. The lever backs and mounts are 18 karat gold. The diamonds are white and radiant, FG SI. They larger stones are approximately 30 pts each and the top stone approximately 8 pts each. They measure 5/8 ths inches long X 3/8ths across the bottom setting and have a combined weight of 4.7 grams. They are unmarked and have been thoroughly tested for gold and platinum.
This particular pair has the desirable fleur de lis setting, and is very beautiful both front and side view. The bottom articulates and reflects light with every movement. They are elegant, refined, and easy to wear for any occasion, day or evening.
