Antique Gold Moonstone Cufflinks
These gold moonstones cufflinks are simple and refined. Moonstones have long been prized by their sheen known as adularescence. These are cabochon cut, bezel set and exhibit these qualities. There was a belief that moonstones were droplets of the moon, having protective qualities.
They measure approximately 1/2 inches long X approximately 3/8ths across and would please either a man or a woman. The color lends itself to almost any shirt or pattern. They are marked 585 on the connecting bar, indicating 14 karat gold. They are circa 1920 and most likely English origin. These will be presented in a black velvet cufflink box. Completely original and in excellent condition.
+++Please note all items listed as silver or gold is either marked( in which case there will be a picture of the mark if possible) or will have been tested by me to verify the metal content+++
Gender: Unisex, Age Group: Adult, Color: 'Blue/gold', Size: approximately 3/8ths across X approximately 1/2 inches long
