Map is mounted on a thin mahogany with plain paper backing,

Puzzle measures approx. 17 1/2 x 19 1/4 inches
In its original slide lidded box with label on the side of the base "America by Spilsbury Russel Court"
Lid missing the edging piece.
Box measures approx. 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches.
J. Spilsbury is considered to be the first commercial maker of jigsaw puzzles.
