Unheated sapphire and diamond halo ring set in platinum 950/1000 and 18k white gold; this is a lovely vintage engagement ring for the girl who wants something with history and individuality. It dates from the Art Deco era of the 1930s and has a central millegrain set, royal blue, sapphire weighing 1ct which is certified as being untreated; it is surrounded by Old European Cut diamonds totalling 1.25ct, all millegrain set and diamond set shoulders. It sits low on the finger, as is typical of rings from this era, so ladies could wear their rings under their kid gloves. It exudes elegance and style as well as fine craftsmanship and is in excellent condition. Weight 4.4gm; hallmarked 18k and stamped Plat; measurements of head: 1.4cm x 1.4cm (1/2″ x 1/2″). Finger size K1/2 (UK/AU), 5.75 (US), 51 (French) which we can re-size for you if required.
