Just acquired on my recent buying trip to Asia a delightful set of five matching terracotta clay figurines.
There are three standing warriors, a standing horse and a kneeling warrior.
They appear to be based on the terracotta army collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China.
The three warriors stand 14cm tall x 4.5cm wide x 3cm deep - 5.5in x 1.8in x 1.2in). Each figure is different with different poses of the hands.
The kneeling warrior measures 11.5cm tall x 4.5cm x 4.5cm - (4.5in x 1.8in x 1.8in). PLEASE NOTE that he has been repaired at the head/neck and is really only noticeable on close inspection.
The standing elegant horse stands 9cm tall x 10cm x 3.5cm - (3.5in x 3.9in x 1.4in).
A very pleasing lot that are contained in a fitted box - the box has seen better days but will be included at no charge.
