This eye catching vintage purse features brightly colored jeweled birds and flowers on the front. It is unsigned and unmarked. The design was obviously inspired by Enid Collins, but it is not her work.
The purse is made of natural color canvas with wood sides that appear to be mahogany. The inside is lined with cream colored vinyl and has one zippered pocket. The strap is still in very good condition with no cracks.
There are two separations in the lining on the inside of the front flap due to opening and closing it. Some very light soiling on the bottom, but the four little metal feet are firmly attached. On the inside, there is a little rust around the feet where they are riveted in place. Absolutely no unusual odors or cigarette smell.
The purse is 10 inches tall, 10 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep.
