A wonderful old 1850-1860 cherry country Sheraton dresser or chest of drawers. The chest has 4 drawers and turned front columns and feet. It is very well constructed and sturdy. The drawers fit properly and slide in and out with ease. At some point in time the finish has been restored, so it is ready to move in and put to use. The finish is in very good condition. The drawer interiors are clean and free from unpleasant odors.

The case is signed on the back but it is difficult to make out all the letters. The last word appears to be Ohio.

The chest is 46 ¼ inches tall and the top is 43 ¼ inches long and 23 ¾ inches deep.
