We found this partially full box of vintage labels inside one of the drawers in an antique seed cabinet we recently bought. The cabinet had been in an old hardware store for many years after the store closed. The red, green and white plaid labels were to be used for sealing one’s purchases with Scotch brand cellophane tape. There is a place to write the weight, item name and price.
The box lid was falling apart, but according to the label, there were originally 1000 labels in it. It is still more than half full. The shaped labels are 2 ½ inches wide and 1 5/8 inches tall. They are still in excellent condition with a few that are slightly bent.
Great for re-purposing any way you choose, and with the colors, especially at Christmas.
