Three matching clear vintage glass spice jars with original zinc metal lids. The jars were made in the colonial pattern and have the names of the spices etched on the fronts. The spices are allspice, cinnamon and ginger.
The jars are 5 inches tall and 2 3/8 inches in diameter. The lids are in very good shape for their age, although one has more dings along the edge than the others. The cinnamon jar has a chip on the base (shown). The glass has the usual bubbles, straw marks and other manufacturing marks commonly found on these old jars.
These jars would look great filled with spices and displayed in an antique baker’s cupboard or a Hoosier kitchen cabinet.
