Made of quarter sawn oak, this early 1900’s metal banded stacking bookcase has 5 sections for books. The doors lift up to open and slide back into the case. The backs are original and four of them have the original Macey label. The doors have the old, wavy glass and original brass knobs. The 3 top sections will hold books up to 10 inches tall and the 2 lower sections will hold books up to 12 inches tall. The inside depth is 10 inches.
We have restored this bookcase and it is in excellent condition. It is 75 1/2 inches tall, 34 inches wide and 12 inches deep.
