This antique oak piece started out as a mirrored top for a sideboard. When the mirror was broken, the previous owner decided to turn it into a chalkboard. The frame has an arched top and lion’s heads and claw feet flank each side. It can be hung or it will stand on its own. It was previously used in a restaurant to showcase the daily menu specials. It would also look great in a retail store, office or kitchen setting. The writing surface is black painted wood and there is a ledge for holding chalk.
The frame is 54 inches long, 17 inches tall and 9 inches deep. The area for writing is 12 ¾ inches tall and 41 ¼ inches long.
