An ornate Victorian cast iron post box for holding mail. It has a flip up lid on top for the mail carrier to drop in letter size mail. There’s also a lockable lid on the mail compartment and peep hole to see if there is mail inside. The cast iron shows some surface rust and flaking paint, so you will probably want to give it a fresh coat of paint. There is a tiny chip on the lower left corner of the main lid. The mailbox is 13 inches tall and 6 inches wide. The interior is 10 ½ inches tall and 5 inches wide. A nice touch for a Victorian house or cottage. Salvaged from an old house about to be torn down.
