A Maple kitchen cabinet with lots of drawers for storage. Two of the drawers are in the style commonly referred to as “possum belly” where the bottoms are curved under and covered in galvanized tin. This cabinet also has 2 pull out cutting boards just underneath the top. The cabinet was made with both hard maple and tiger maple, and the wood has a wonderful warm color. The back is also finished nicely so the cabinet could be used for a kitchen island. A towel bar could be added on the side for kitchen towels. The top has bread board ends, and also some character from many years of kitchen duty, but it is still in very good shape. There's plenty of room for food preparation.
The cabinet is 30 inches tall. The top is 50 ¾ inches long and 25 ½ inches wide. The drawers work properly and easily slide in and out. The metal on the possum belly drawers has been protected with a coat of satin lacquer. This is a nice, sturdy piece ready to be put to use.
