This is a nice substantial yellow ware pitcher. The color of the exterior glaze reminds me of spicy brown mustard. The interior glaze is white. The pitcher is in very good condition. It has light, all over crazing and some glaze pops - nothing out of the ordinary for a piece of this age. The handle is free from cracks, but there are several small flakes on one side of the handle near the bottom (shown). It’s a great pitcher for fresh flowers or herbs, and we have shown it full of sunflowers. At Christmas, it would also be perfect for holding boughs of fresh greens and red berries. The height is 8 ¾ inches and the width from the edge of the handle to the tip of the lip is 7 ½ inches. It weighs slightly over 4 pounds before packing.
