An antique hand crocheted cotton bedspread or coverlet with a pointed edge and tassels on 3 sides. The top edge is straight. Antique white in color, it has been stored well, so I did not wash it. It needs a little TLC, as do most of these types of heavy crochet pieces. Nothing major, but there are a few broken stitches that need to be sewn back together, mostly on the top edge where one would grasp the bedspread to pull it up over the shoulders when sleeping. There is one small stain (pictured) that is visible on the back side (may come out with a spot cleaning) and a few of the tassels are missing. From the top edge to the bottom it measures 76 inches. It is 102 inches in width which allows it to hang almost to the floor on a full or queen size mattress.
One can only imagine the many hours it took to make this piece. It is heavy, so shipping could be pricey, depending on how far your location is from ours.
