Quarter Sawn Oak Sideboard with Oval Mirror and Cherubs - image 1 of 9

An unusual and very nice antique Victorian era quartersawn 2 piece oak sideboard / buffet in great old intact, original finish. The lovely oval beveled glass mirror is flanked by a pair of rather chubby cherubs. There's also another cherub between the doors in the base. The mirror frame also has hand carved floral and foliate designs. The beveled mirror is still in remarkably good condition with a few dark flecks here and there.

If you are fortunate enough to own a Victorian home, this piece would be a focal point.

Condition: Original finish other than the top surface of the base which has been restored to match the rest of the piece. Brass hardware and wooden casters are original. The divided silverware drawer has been relined with felt, as is it was originally.

The overall height is 66 inches, width at the widest point is 53 inches and the depth at the deepest point is 25 inches. The height of the base is 42 inches. The top surface of the base is 50 inches long and 23 inches deep.
