Queen Anne Style Artist Doll by Sandra Wright Justiss

This doll is called “Nell”. She was made by Sandra Wright Justiss in 2006. The box label reads #12/100 (2nd Edition), but the back of the doll looks like it reads 3/100. I purchased her directly from the artist at a doll show years ago and she comes with all of her original packing and certificate and in the original decorated wood box. Her robin’s egg blue brocade dress is stiffened with papers that look like 18th century papers. The box is lined with similar papers. She is some type of resin or composition with jointed hips, but the dress mostly holds her up. The wig appears to be flax and her dark eyes are inserted in the head. The dress is trimmed with metallic lace, cream lace and silk ribbons. I have always kept her in the box, so she is just as new. Nell measures about 9” and the box is approximately 11.5” x 8.5” x 2.25” and is decorated with beautiful feathered paper and a lovely image of a woman, child and her doll. I am in the process of downsizing my many collections and Nell is ready to go to a new home. US shipping only.
