Late 18th or Early 19th Century Pair of Wooden Feet - image 1 of 7

These just fascinate me - I love how they look and feel. They are early carved wooden feet from perhaps a creche type figure or a large papier-mache. They have remnants of leather nailed around the ankle where they would have been attached to a leg. I love that you can see the carving marks on them. The paint is worn, but has a wonderful patina. The sole on the bottom measures 2 3/8 inches and they are about 1 3/4 inches tall. They would be great if you needed feet for a figure, but even on their own, they are just wonderful. US shipping only. I am in the process of downsizing my collection and looking to find new homes for some of my dolls.
