This fabulous vintage deep chocolate brown velveteen pillbox hat is awesome!!! The hat is accented with gorgeous bead work. The front and two sides feature a fabulous focal point design that is an oval-shape. The center of the design is made up of a cluster of tiny seed beads that are positioned on the upright end of short bugle beads-the stand up and look like flower stamens. This is in turn surrounded by small flower-shaped beads that have a pearl finish. Around the outside of these are oblong faux pearl beads. Three pearlized leaves radiate outward from either side of the focal design. The top and back of the hat are accented with trios of tiny seed beads and single small round faux pearls.

The hat is in excellent condition.

There are two labels in the hat. One says "A Nat Frank Original by Lee Leon New York." The other label says "Maude Kavanaugh Racine, Wisconsin."

Hats are definitely back in style-everyone from Kate Middleton to Representative Alma Adams has at least one.

Size: 18 1/2 Note that the hat is made to sit up higher on the head, so it should fit most heads.
