A very nice pair of polychrome decorated dinner plates manufactured by J & G Meakin, Eagle Pottery and Eastwood Works, Hanley, England, circa 1907. The plates are decorated in floral groupings in shades of soft browns and muted pink. The plates with slightly scalloped edge measure 9 3/4" across. They are marked in green " J & G Meakin - Hanley England - Semi-Porcelain" with a crown. The pattern "Flora" is stamped in brown. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; age related crazing and some light utensil marks are present.
