Blue Ridge dinnerware was produced by Southern Potteries of Erwin, Tennessee from the late 1930's until 1950 in twelve basic styles and two thousand different patterns, all of which were hand decorated under the glaze. This set of 4 bread & butter or dessert plates are the "Chrysanthemum" pattern on the Colonial blank. The colors are vivid royal blue, ruby red, deep green and golden yellow. The bread & butter or dessert plates measure 6 1/8" across; all are unmarked. There are no cracks, chips, nicks or repairs on these plates.
