This rather unusual hand painted cabinet plate, circa mid-1900's, portrays seven mice, (I did say mice), precariously gathered together on a narrow ledge. All of the shaded gray, furry fellows, with black beady eyes and detailing, as well as soft pink highlights, are posing for the artist. The plate has a light pastel yellow (not light gray as the photos show) background with brown rope border, detailed with black. The plate measures 8" across and is unmarked as to the maker.
