Hand painted china is beautiful and unique as it portrays the artists emotions and visions for the subject he or she is creating. This lovely hand painted cabinet plate, circa 1910, portrays a beautiful floral daisies motif, created in a small home studio environment by a very talented individual with great attention to detail and subject naturalism.
The colorful motif of this plate has a wide band of white daisy blossoms, outlined in black with golden yellow centers, accented with arches of green leafage, all against a soft buttery yellow background. The wide outer border is gold encrusted. The plate measures 8 1/2" across and is stamped "Haviland - France", circa 1894-1931. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. Unfortunately the plate is not artist signed or dated. Lovely detail.
