Rubina Crystal Glass is a heat sensitive glass that shades from clear (crystal) on the bottom to a pale/cranberry red on the top. This beautiful Rubina Crystal Enameled Vase, circa 1900, as all rubina crystal glassware has a cranberry top portion which slowly fades to clear/near clear at the bottom. The vase is decorated with gold leaves, circle, heart, scrolls, vertical lines and beads, which have been delicately over-painted with a soft, pastel, coral/peach enamel, which creates a stunning contrast. The top rim has a medium-wide gold band. The vase is from the Bohemian/Czech area of Europe and while it is decorated with Moser-type decorations, I cannot say it is Moser. The vase measures 12 1/2"" in height, 3 1/4" across the top and 3 3/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; minor residue in the base.
