Lovely vintage hand painted portrait plate, circa 1980's, created in a home-studio environment by an accomplished artist. The subject, a beautiful young lady in her preteens with long brunette curls, fair complexion, red lips, gorgeous dark blue eyes with dark lashes and brow. She is dressed in shaded blue frilly dress with matching bonnet. The background is a muted pale blue/lavender combination. The plate measures 11 1/4" across and is marked "Bavaria - Schumann - Arzbero - Germany" circa 1960-1970 company mark. The there are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint and adorable.
