The United States Glass Company rather than being just one entity was a conglomerate formed in 1891 when at least 18 different glass companies were combined under one umbrella. A variety of glass products were created over the years consisting of pressed, blown carnival, etc. By 1951 only the Tiffin, Ohio plant remained, which closed in the 1960's.
