The United States Glass Company rather than being just one entity was a conglomerate formed in 1891 when at least 18 different glass companies were combined under one umbrella. A variety of glass products were created over the years consisting of pressed, blown carnival, etc. By 1951 only the Tiffin, Ohio plant remained, which closed in the 1960's.

This lovely emerald green EAPG goblet is the "Florida" a.k.a. "Paneled Herringbone" pattern, circa 1898, which was part of the "States Series" of patterns. The bowl of the goblet is surrounded by clear and herringbone panels. The goblet measures 5 7/8" in height, 3" across the top and 2 7/8" across the base. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint. Gorgeous color.
