Celebrating 25 years of Antiquing Bliss
Johnson Bros Blue Flow "Savoy" Pattern 6 1/4" Crescent Shape Individual Bone Dish - image 1 of 8

In 1883 two brothers, Alfred and Frederick Johnson, purchased a defunct pottery known as Charles Street Works in Hanley, England. By the end of the 1890's Johnson Brothers may have been the largest earthenware manufacturer in the world.

The "Savoy" Flow Blue China pattern, circa early 1900's, has a wide border of medallions portraying three and four leaf clovers and scrolls, all with gold accents. The crescent shaped individual bone dish measures 6 1/4" in length and 3 1/2" across.. Stamped "Savoy - 'Crown Mark' - Johnson Bros. - England", pattern registered in 1906. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some light utensil marks; near mint. Beautiful and somewhat unusual pattern. Two (2) bone dishes available.
