A lovely Victorian blue cased glass squatty vase which shades from pastel blue at the top to lighter blue at the base with white interior. Made by one of the early glass houses, probably European in origin, circa 1890.
The vase has a deeply ruffled, fold-over top with the body of the vase consisting of narrow vertical panels. The body of the vase is decorated with a floral design of flowers, unopened buds and leafy foliage in heavy orange/yellow enamel. The vase measures 4 1/2" in height and 5 1/2" across with polished pontil. There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Great addition to your enameled art glass collection.
