A.H. Heisey & Company of Newark, Ohio, first introduced the "Orchid" etched pattern in 1940 and it continued in production until the Heisey Company closed in 1957. During this time the "Orchid" pattern became Heisey's most popular etching.
This lovely, as well as scarce, "Orchid" pattern vase is etched on a Lariat blank. It measures 7 1/2" in height, 4 1/4" across the base and 6" across the top. Unmarked with no cracks, chips, discoloration or repairs; several minor scuffs on underside of base. A wonderful addition for your Heisey collection.
